Kitchen surfaces were cluttered, textiles and storage containers were colourful and well used. The Island was not well presented and the bar stools were too bulky for the space.

Counters were cleared of clutter and plants, glass and neutral accessories, cannisters and textiles were added. The island was accessorised with candles and a bouquet of flowers and the bulky bar stools were replaced with lightweight oak seated stools.

Living Room before staging
The living room was cold and uninviting. The sofas were very marked and worn and the curtains had shrunk.

The sofas were covered with grey stretch ribbed covers and new curtains were hung. Plants and ochre cushions and accessories were used to add warmth.

The client felt this room bland and lacking in warmth. The client needed more storage and wanted to change the pine fireplace.

The room was painted white and black furniture, accessories and light fittings were installed which created more contrast in the room. Greenery and ochre and woven accessories were added for warmth. Bespoke built in cupboards and shelves were installed and painted white as was the existing fireplace

Bedroom before staging
The bedroom curtains were very worn and there was a lot of clutter on the floor and on surfaces. The cube storage was old and makeshift looking and not suited to a master bedroom.
Bedroom after staging
All clutter was removed, a bouquet of flowers was added to chest of drawers. The bed was dressed with new white covers and cushions which co-ordinate with the curtains and wall paper. The cube storage was replaced with a double chest of drawers, accessorised with lamps and a large mirror. The ottoman was dressed as a seating area using cushions.
